  Really not happy with the service here. Brought my poorly cat here 2 nights ago for the OOH as he had been brutally attacked by a dog which left him without a tail. The vet who examined him (who was far too rude and stuck up) stated the obvious and told me that he needed an operation relatively soon to stitch up his tail which would cost an absolute fortune. She failed to mention all the extra problems which were then discovered the next day at our usual vets including damaged bladder which disallowed him from passing urine, problems with his spine which meant he couldn't walk, problems in his stomach which meant he was unable to eat and then further problems with his tail (even though the vet here told us his tail wouldn't be a problem and would be fine!) Essentially, we would have paid all that money for his operation from them to then realise he'd need more due to the extra problems. This is just a money making business. Unfortunately, our cat was far too poorly and we were told by our vets that he wouldn't be able to have a happy life anymore and it's the kindest thing to do if we put him to sleep. We are all obviously very upset at the moment but the vet we spoke with here at Abbey house was very unhelpful, impolite and rude. Not to mention we weren't allowed to see our poor cat before we left him in the hospital overnight. On the positive side, the reception staff were very helpful and kind during a very traumatic time for us and our poor cat.
